Atrix 2 là mẫu di động lõi kép mới, thiết bị có tốc độ 1GHz, màn hình 4,3 inch và hỗ trợ quay phim full HD từ camera 8 "chấm".
Dù là phiên bản nối tiếp chiếc Atrix 4G ra mắt đầu năm, nhưng phiên bản mới gần như không có thay đổi về tốc độ, máy vẫn sử dụng vi xử lý hai nhân 1GHz. Màn hình Atrix 2 vẫn là qHD rộng 4,3 inch.
Thiết bị máy có camera 8 Megapixel, kết nối HDMI, chuẩn HSPA lên tới 21Mb/giây. Atrix 2 có bộ nhớ RAM 1GB, ROM 8GB, hỗ trợ khe cắm thẻ nhớ microSD cho phép mở rộng thêm 32GB.
Máy chạy trên hệ điều hành Android 2.3 Gingerbread, hiện chưa có thông tin về giá và thời điểm. Atrix 2 được bán đầu tiên trên mạng AT&T tại Mỹ.
